Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Raspberries

Rinse the fresh raspberries under cold water and set them aside.

  2. 2

    Gather the Wild Rose Petals

Collect and rinse the wild rose petals thoroughly to remove any dirt or insects.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pot, combine the water, fresh raspberries, wild rose petals, and lemon juice. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.

  2. 4

    Simmer the Mixture

Once boiling, reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 5

    Strain the Mixture

After simmering, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids. Press the mixture with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.

  4. 6

    Sweeten the Liquid

Return the strained liquid to the pot and add honey. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Serving

  1. 7

    Cool and Serve

Allow the mixture to cool before transferring it to bottles. Serve chilled or pour over ice.
