Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pork
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Pat the pork shoulder dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil all over the pork, making sure to cover all sides.
- 2
Season the Pork
In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- 3
Roast the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a roasting pan. Pour the apple cider vinegar and chicken broth into the pan around the pork. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
- 4
Cooking Time
Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 4 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- 5
Finishing Touches
Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the pork to brown. Once done, take the pork out of the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before shredding.
