Nachos
Method
Preparation
- 1
Cook the Grinder Meat
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chorizo until browned. Add the diced onion and taco seasoning, stirring until the onion is translucent and the spices are well incorporated. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- 2
Prepare the Nachos
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). On a large baking sheet, spread out the tri-colored tortilla chips in an even layer. Spoon the grinder meat mixture evenly over the chips.
- 3
Add Cheese and Bake
Sprinkle the four cheese blend (cheddar, Monterey Jack, mozzarella, and queso blanco) generously over the grinder meat. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 4
Add Toppings and Serve
Remove from the oven and top with queso dip, sliced jalapenos, and chopped red onion. Serve immediately with taco sauce and pineapple salsa on the side.
