Bread Stix
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Dough
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to create a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- 2
Cut the Stix
Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into strips approximately 1 inch wide and 4-5 inches long.
- 3
Make Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
- 4
Brush the Dough
Place the cut dough strips onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the garlic butter mixture over each strip generously.
- 5
Add Cheese and Seasoning
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, dried oregano, and dried parsley evenly over the dough strips.
- 6
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the bread stix are golden brown.
- 7
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Pair with marinara or beer cheese sauce for dipping.
