Mojito Ingredients

Method

Mojito Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle the Mint and Sugar

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the mint leaves to release their oils, mixing them with the sugar.

  2. 2

    Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from both halves into the glass. Add the lime wedges into the glass for extra flavor.

  3. 3

    Add Rum

Pour the white rum over the muddled mint, sugar, and lime mixture.

  4. 4

    Mix and Add Ice

Stir the mixture well to dissolve the sugar. Fill the glass with ice cubes to the top.

  5. 5

    Top with Club Soda

Pour club soda over the ice until the glass is full. Give it one last gentle stir to combine.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge. Serve with a straw and enjoy your refreshing mojito!
