In a cocktail shaker, combine Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.

Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
