Ingredients for Fried Chicken Katsu Sandwich
Method
Directions to Prepare Fried Chicken Katsu Sandwich
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Fry the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
- 3
Make the Slaw
In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and mayonnaise. Mix well and set aside.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwich
On each sandwich bun, place a fried chicken breast, top with the homemade slaw, and drizzle with teriyaki sauce. Close the bun and serve.
