Potstickers

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken (or vegetable mix), green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Fill the Wrappers

Take a potsticker wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and pinch to seal. Make sure there are no air pockets.

  3. 3

    Cook the Potstickers

Heat the oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the potstickers in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them. Fry for about 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.

  4. 4

    Steam the Potstickers

Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover immediately. Allow to steam for about 5 minutes or until the water has evaporated and the potstickers are fully cooked.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the potstickers from the skillet and serve warm with Korean BBQ sauce on the side.
