Pasta Preparation

    Cook the Pasta

    In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the strozzapreti noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

    Make the Sauce

    In a large skillet, cook the diced pancetta over medium heat until crispy. Add the asparagus tips and sauté for 2-3 minutes until tender. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer.

    Add the Vegetables

    Add the spinach and green peas to the skillet, cooking until the spinach wilts. Gently fold in the Dungeness crab meat. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

    Add the cooked strozzapreti noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the creamy crab sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

    Divide the pasta among serving plates. Top with grated Pecorino cheese and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs and sliced almonds for crunch.
