Cocktail Preparation

Chill the Glass

Start by chilling a coupe or cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing glass, combine the dry French vermouth, Benedictine, and absinthe.

Add Ice

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve

Empty the ice water from your chilled glass and strain the mixture into the glass.

Garnish

Finish with a twist of lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass as garnish.
