Preparing the Spinach Artichoke Dip

Step 1: Prepare the Spinach
In a large pot, bring 1 inch of water to a boil. Add the fresh spinach and cook for about 2-3 minutes until wilted. Drain and chop finely.

Step 2: Mix the Dip Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Step 3: Add the Remaining Ingredients
To the cream cheese mixture, add the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until evenly mixed.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.

In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Using kitchen tongs, carefully place the corn tortillas in the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fried tortillas from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt to taste while still warm.
