Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Preparing the Patties

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Add the cheese slices on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Cooking the Bacon

  1. 3

    Fry the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and slice the lettuce, tomato, and onion. Set aside.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the burger bun, layer the cooked patty with melted cheese, followed by the crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
