Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Caramelize the Onions

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced sweet onion and a pinch of salt, cooking until softened and caramelized, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally to avoid burning.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate pan, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop into pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 4 equally sized patties.

  4. 4

    Grill the Burgers

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with smoked blue cheese to melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the hamburger buns lightly. Spread garlic aioli on the bottom half of each bun, add the burger patty with melted cheese, top with caramelized onions and crispy bacon, then cover with the top half of the bun.
