Ingredients

Ingredients for Warm, Freshly Baked Cookies

Preparation

Instructions for Baking Cookies

1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3. Cream Butter and Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

4. Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

5. Combine Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

6. Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

7. Scoop the Dough

Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

8. Bake the Cookies

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still soft.

9. Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm.
