Preparation
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Seafood
While the pasta is cooking, clean and devein the jumbo shrimp if necessary. Cut the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces.
Making the Cream Sauce
- 3
Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4
Add Shrimp and Lobster
Add the jumbo shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start turning pink. Then add the lobster meat and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- 5
Prepare the Cream Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Combining
- 6
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked penne pasta to the cream sauce in the skillet. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce and seafood.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
