Method
Preparation of Mushrooms
- 1
Prepare the Mushrooms
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Clean the Portobello mushrooms by gently wiping them with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and set aside the caps for stuffing.
Seafood Filling
- 2
Cook the Seafood
In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute), then add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Add the crab meat, green onions, salt, and black pepper, and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
- 3
Mix the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked seafood mixture with cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Stuffing and Baking
- 4
Stuff the Mushrooms
Generously fill each Portobello mushroom cap with the seafood filling, pressing down gently to pack it in.
- 5
Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms
Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the mushrooms are tender.
Lemon Butter Sauce
- 6
Prepare the Lemon Butter Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley, then remove from heat.
