Preparation of Pasta

Cook the Angel Hair Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Shrimp and Artichokes

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the Gulf shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp is pink and opaque.

Add Artichokes and Lemon
Stir in the quartered artichoke hearts and the zest and juice of the Meyer lemon. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring gently.
Combining Ingredients

Mix Everything Together
Add the cooked angel hair pasta to the skillet with the shrimp and artichokes. Toss gently to combine all ingredients, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.

Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately, garnished with additional lemon zest if desired.
