In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Add the San Marzano tomatoes, crushed red pepper flakes, and season with salt and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Incorporate Vodka
Pour in the vodka and let it reduce for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add Prosciutto and Banana Peppers
Stir in the prosciutto and sautéed banana peppers. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until everything is heated through.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the sauce. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
