Preparation Steps

    Prepare the Sriracha Aioli

    In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sriracha, lime juice, minced ginger, and chopped cilantro. Set aside.

    Prepare the Tuna Tartare

    Dice the sashimi grade Ahi tuna into small cubes. In a separate bowl, combine the diced tuna with salt, sesame oil, and a splash of soy sauce. Gently mix to combine.

    Fry the Wonton Wrappers

    In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Fry the wonton wrappers until golden brown and crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels.

    Assemble the Dish

    On a plate, place a mound of warm sushi rice. Top with the seasoned tuna tartare. Drizzle the sriracha aioli over the tartare.

    Garnish and Serve

    Garnish with nori strips, black sesame seeds, and additional cilantro if desired. Serve immediately with extra wonton crisps on the side.
