Preparation of Dry Ingredients

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Preparation of Wet Ingredients

  1. 2

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 3

    Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Gently stir until just combined. Do not overmix; small lumps are okay.

Cooking the Pancakes

  1. 4

    Preheat Pan

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can add a small amount of butter or oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 5

    Cook Pancakes

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about another 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve with Toppings

Serve the pancakes warm, drizzled with maple syrup and topped with fresh berries.
