Marinating the Steak

1. Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until the sugar is dissolved.

2. Marinate the Steak

Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

Cooking the Steak
