Method

Mayo Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium mixing bowl, add 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

  2. 2

    Mix Well

Using a whisk or a spatula, mix all the ingredients until they are well combined and smooth. Set aside.

Eggs Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare Water

In a saucepan, add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil.

  2. 4

    Boil Eggs

Once the water is boiling, carefully add the 6 whole eggs to the pan. Cook the eggs for 9-12 minutes, depending on how hard you prefer the yolks.

  3. 5

    Cool Eggs

After cooking, remove the eggs from the water and place them in a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes to cool down. This will make peeling easier.

  4. 6

    Peel Eggs

Once cooled, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell and peel them under running water for easier removal.

Assemble Dish

  1. 7

    Slice Eggs

Slice each peeled egg in half lengthwise.

  2. 8

    Add Mayo

Spoon the prepared mayo mixture generously onto each egg half.

  3. 9

    Garnish

Sprinkle with fresh chives and additional paprika for garnish before serving.
