Main Ingredients

Method

Cooking the Bacon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices. Cook until crispy, about 6-8 minutes, flipping occasionally to ensure even cooking.

  2. 2

    Drain and Chop

Once cooked, remove the bacon from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Once cooled, chop the bacon into small pieces and set aside.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 3

    Boil the Eggs

In a pot, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and boil for 9-12 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. Adjust the time based on desired doneness.

  2. 4

    Cool and Peel

Once the eggs are done, transfer them to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

Making the Bacon Aioli

  1. 5

    Prepare the Aioli

In a mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 6

    Add Bacon

Fold in the chopped bacon into the aioli mixture until evenly distributed.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Serve the Eggs

Place the halved eggs on a serving platter. Generously spoon the bacon aioli over the egg halves.

  2. 8

    Garnish and Enjoy

If desired, sprinkle chopped chives and paprika over the top for added flavor and presentation.
