Preparation Instructions
Prepare the Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and honey until well combined. Stir in sesame seeds and set aside.
Cook the Wontons
In a skillet over medium heat, add a small amount of oil and fry wonton wrappers until golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Sear the Tuna
Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, add oil and sear tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and slice thinly.
Prepare the Salad
In a large bowl, combine sliced avocado, snap peas, shredded carrot, and cashews. Gently toss with the sesame ginger vinaigrette.
Assemble the Salad
Plate the salad mixture and top with sliced seared tuna and crispy wontons. Drizzle additional vinaigrette if desired.
