Its smooth, velvety texture and moderate bitterness make it the perfect companion for any occasion, inviting you to sip, savor, and enjoy the hazy goodness in every pour.

Heat 5 gallons of water to 165°F (74°C). Add the pale malt, flaked oats, and caramel malt to the water. Maintain a temperature of 150°F (65°C) for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Mashing

After mashing, sparge with an additional 170°F (77°C) water to collect about 6 gallons of wort.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil and add the Citra hops. Boil for 15 minutes, then add the Simcoe hops and boil for another 15 minutes. Finally, add the Mosaic hops and boil for 5 more minutes.

Boiling

Cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller until it reaches about 70°F (21°C).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter. Pitch the yeast and seal the fermenter. Allow it to ferment at around 68°F (20°C) for about 1-2 weeks.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer. Bottle and cap the beer, then allow it to carbonate at room temperature for another 1-2 weeks.

Bottling

Chill the bottles and enjoy your homemade Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA!
