Method
Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it’s hot enough for roasting the Brussels sprouts.
- 2
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water, trim the ends, and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise.
Cooking
- 3
Toss with Olive Oil and Seasoning
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the sprouts are evenly coated.
- 4
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, tossing halfway through.
- 5
Add Parmesan and Balsamic Glaze
In the last 5 minutes of roasting, remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts. Return to the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
