Cooking Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Add the chicken breasts and coat well. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Coating
In a shallow dish, place the cornstarch. Dredge the marinated chicken in cornstarch, ensuring it is well-coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the coated chicken in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Prepare the Kimchi Salad
In a bowl, mix the shredded cabbage with kimchi. Toss to combine.
- 6
Serve
Serve the fried chicken on a plate with the kimchi salad and a side of fresh lettuce or green leaves.
