Prepare the Filling
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced pears, brown sugar, cranberries, salt, and pepper. Cook until the pears are soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Prepare the Puff Pastry
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry.

Bake the Baked Brie
Place the wrapped Brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.

Prepare the Garlic Baguette
While the cheese is baking, preheat another oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with softened butter. Spread this mixture on the baguette slices and bake for 10-15 minutes until toasted.

Make Balsamic Reduction
In a small saucepan, bring balsamic vinegar to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until it thickens to a syrupy consistency, about 10-15 minutes.
