Steak
Garlic Fries
Method
Steak Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ribeye
Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
- 2
- 3
Grill the Steaks
Preheat your grill to high heat. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the steak to check for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C).
- 4
Rest the Steaks
Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
Garlic Fries Preparation
- 5
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into long, thin strips to create fries.
- 6
Soak the Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and results in crispier fries.
- 7
- 8
Flavor the Fries
While the fries are still hot, mince the garlic cloves and sprinkle them over the fries along with salt. Toss to coat evenly.
- 9
Garnish
Chop the fresh parsley and sprinkle it over the garlic fries for added flavor and color.
