Preparation & Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Bread the chicken breast by first seasoning it with salt and pepper, then dipping it in flour, followed by beaten eggs, and finally coating it with breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Fry the Chicken

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken breast until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and let it drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In the same pan, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Make the Gravy

In a saucepan, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Add flour and stir for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in the milk. Cook until thickened, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Puff Pastry

Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares. Bake according to package instructions until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Power Puff

On each puff pastry square, place a piece of fried chicken, followed by two fried eggs, a generous amount of cheddar cheese, and top with sausage gravy. Finish by adding two pieces of bacon on top.
