Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4-6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add a pinch of salt for flavor.

Cook Pasta
Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Stir occasionally.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water for later use, then drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
Cooking Vegetables

Heat Olive Oil
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Sauté Garlic
Add the minced garlic to the oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.

Add Vegetables
Add the zucchini, bell pepper, carrot, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still vibrant in color.

Add Spinach
Stir in the spinach leaves and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until wilted.
Combining and Serving

Combine Pasta and Vegetables
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss to combine.

Season and Finish
Add the reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached. Season with salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped basil.

Serve
Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and basil if desired.
