Cooking Instructions

1

Make the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine crab meat, ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

2

Form the Meatballs

Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3

Bake the Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

4

Prepare the Fra Diavolo Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in sherry and let it simmer for a few minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.

5

Combine Meatballs and Sauce

Once the meatballs are done baking, add them to the skillet with the fra diavolo sauce. Gently toss to coat the meatballs in the sauce.

6

Serve

Serve the spaghetti topped with the crab meatballs and sauce. Garnish with additional fresh basil and grated cheese.
