Ingredients for Chocolate Chip Brookie

Method

Directions for Chocolate Chip Brookie

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brownie Base

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

  2. 2

    Mix in Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  3. 3

    Bake the Brownie Layer

Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

  4. 4

In a separate bowl, take the edible cookie dough and flatten it into a layer to place on top of the cooled brownie base.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Brookie

Spread the salted caramel sauce over the cookie dough layer, followed by the chocolate mousse. Top with candied hazelnuts.

  6. 6

    Serve

Cut into squares and serve warm with scoops of cookie dough ice cream on top.
