Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Chop the Apples

Core and dice the apples into bite-sized pieces. If desired, you can leave the skin on for added texture and flavor.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Celery

Chop the celery stalks into small pieces to complement the crunchiness of the apples.

  3. 3

    Halve the Grapes

Rinse the grapes under cold water, then cut them in half to make them easier to eat and to mix with the other ingredients.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Candied Walnuts

If not already prepared, toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant and then toss them with a little sugar to create a candy coating.

Making the Dressing

  1. 5

    Combine the Dressing Ingredients

In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 6

    Mix All Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, celery, halved grapes, and candied walnuts.

  2. 7

    Add the Dressing

Pour the prepared Greek yogurt dressing over the salad mixture. Toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.

  3. 8

    Serve

Transfer the Waldorf salad to a serving dish. Optionally, garnish with additional walnuts or a sprinkle of black pepper before serving.
