Calamari Preparation

Prepare the Calamari
Rinse the calamari rings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Make the Breading Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).

Fry the Calamari
Dip calamari rings into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then carefully place them into the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Red Pepper Aioli Preparation

Make the Aioli
In a blender or food processor, combine mayonnaise, roasted red bell pepper, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Wasabi Drizzle Preparation

Combine Wasabi and Mayonnaise
In a small bowl, mix the wasabi paste and mayonnaise together until well combined.
