Dough Balls
Method
Preparation
- 1
Make the Dough Balls
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 2
Form the Dough Balls
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.
- 3
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough balls are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- 4
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
While the dough balls are cooling, mix the remaining granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll the warm dough balls in the cinnamon sugar until well coated.
- 5
Make the Frosting Dip
In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar and heavy cream. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency with more heavy cream if necessary.
- 6
Serve
Serve the warm Powerpuffs with a side of Ice-Climbers Frosting dip.
