Pizza Base and Sauce

Method

Preparation and Assembly

  1. 1

    Prepare Taco Meat

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or turkey) until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add taco seasoning and a little water according to package instructions. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the meat is well coated and heated through.

  2. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  3. 3

    Assemble Pizza

Spread the cheese sauce evenly over the gluten-free pizza crust. Top with mozzarella cheese, followed by the prepared taco meat, crushed Doritos, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, and cheddar cheese.

  4. 4

    Bake Pizza

Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. 5

    Finish and Serve

Remove from oven, drizzle with taco sauce, and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
