Patties

Method

Prepare the Patties

  1. 1

    Make the Chicken Patties

In a bowl, mix ground Jidori chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty to melt.

Make the Shishito-Pickle Relish

  1. 3

    Prepare the Relish

In a bowl, combine chopped shishito peppers, dill pickles, red onion, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and salt. Mix well and let it sit for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 4

    Build the Burger

Toast the potato buns lightly. On the bottom half of each bun, spread a tablespoon of crack burger sauce. Add a cooked chicken patty with melted Swiss cheese, followed by a generous scoop of shishito-pickle relish and a handful of shredded romaine lettuce. Top with the other half of the bun.
