Grilled Romaine Ingredients

Method

Grilled Romaine Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the jalapeño bacon until crispy. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Once cool, chop into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Romaine

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. While the grill is heating, slice the romaine lettuce hearts in half lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Season the Romaine

Brush the cut sides of the romaine with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Grill the Romaine

Place the romaine halves cut side down on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes until they develop nice grill marks and are slightly wilted. Flip and grill for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the grilled romaine from the grill and place on a serving platter. Drizzle generously with Point Reyes Blue Cheese dressing and sprinkle with chopped jalapeño bacon. Serve immediately.
