Bread Pudding

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Tear the day-old bread into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine and Soak

Pour the wet mixture over the torn bread pieces and gently mix until the bread is fully soaked. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the liquid.

  4. 4

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the soaked bread mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
