Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the green and red bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Cooking the Steak and Vegetables

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet with a little of the bacon grease, add the sliced onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  2. 4

    Add the Shaved Steak

Add the shaved steak to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the steak is cooked through.

Assembling the Steak Bomb

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Crumble the cooked bacon and mix it into the steak and vegetable mixture in the skillet.

  2. 6

    Melt the Cheese

Top the mixture with the cheese and cover the skillet with a lid. Allow it to cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Hot

Serve the steak bomb hot on its own or on toasted rolls for a delicious sandwich.
