Ice Cream Base Preparation

Mix the Base
In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk together until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Chocolate Ice Cream

Prepare the Chocolate Flavor
Take a portion of the ice cream base (about 2 cups) and mix in the unsweetened cocoa powder until fully combined. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Coffee Ice Cream

Prepare the Coffee Flavor
In another bowl, take another portion of the ice cream base (about 2 cups) and stir in the instant coffee granules until dissolved. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Maple Walnut Ice Cream

Prepare the Maple Walnut Flavor
For the maple walnut ice cream, take the remaining base (about 2 cups) and mix in the pure maple syrup and chopped walnuts. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Freezing and Serving

Once all flavors have been churned, transfer them to separate airtight containers. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
