Method
Eggs
- 1
Cook the Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled), approximately 3-5 minutes.
Meat
- 2
Prepare the Bacon or Sausage
In another skillet, cook the bacon or sausage over medium heat until crispy and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes for bacon or 8-10 minutes for sausage links, flipping halfway through.
Apple Cider Donuts
- 3
Make the Donut Batter
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the apple cider, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- 4
Fry the Donuts
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 375°F (190°C). Using a donut cutter, cut out the donuts from the batter. Fry the donuts in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
