Method

Preparation of Espresso

  1. 1

    Brew Espresso

Using an espresso machine, brew 2 shots of espresso. If you don't have an espresso machine, you can use a stovetop espresso maker or any method you prefer to make strong coffee.

Steaming the Milk

  1. 2

    Heat the Milk

In a small saucepan or using a milk steamer, heat 1 cup of milk until it's hot but not boiling. If using a saucepan, stir occasionally to avoid scalding.

  2. 3

    Froth the Milk

If you have a milk frother, froth the heated milk until it is light and frothy. If you don't have a frother, you can vigorously whisk the milk or shake it in a jar to create foam.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Mix Espresso and Maple Syrup

In a large coffee mug, pour the brewed espresso shots and add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup. Stir well until the syrup is fully dissolved.

  2. 5

    Add Milk

Pour the steamed and frothed milk over the espresso and maple syrup mixture. Hold back the froth with a spoon to allow the liquid milk to pour in first, then spoon the froth on top.

Final Touch

  1. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Optionally, drizzle a little extra maple syrup on top of the froth for added sweetness. Serve immediately and enjoy your Real Maple Latte!
