Method

Pancakes

  1. 1

    Prepare Pancake Batter

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

  2. 2

    Cook Pancakes

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter. Once melted, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.

Eggs

  1. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In a skillet, heat the butter or oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook to your liking: sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled.

Bacon & Sausage

  1. 4

    Cook Bacon and Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside. In the same skillet, add the sausage links and cook until browned and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes), turning occasionally.

Home Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare Potatoes

Dice the potatoes, onion, and bell pepper into small cubes. Rinse the potatoes under cold water and pat dry.

  2. 6

    Cook Home Fries

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the onion and bell pepper, season with salt and pepper, and continue to cook until the potatoes are golden brown and tender, about another 10-15 minutes.

Toast

  1. 7

    Toast the Bread

Toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown. Spread butter on top if desired.
