Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Lobster Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Lobster

In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the cooked and chopped lobster meat, stirring to coat in the butter. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cheese Sauce

  1. 3

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute to create a roux. Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens (about 5-7 minutes).

  2. 4

    Add the Cheese

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth and creamy.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 5

    Mix Pasta and Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained pasta, cheese sauce, and heated lobster. Mix until well combined.

Topping Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Topping

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with 2 tablespoons of melted butter until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.

Assembly and Baking

  1. 7

    Assemble and Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the lobster mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

  2. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
