Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the lettuce, tomato, onions, and green peppers into bite-sized pieces. Slice the pickles if they are whole.

  2. 2

    Mix the Condiments

In a small bowl, combine olive oil and vinegar. Whisk together until well blended.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Toast the Ciabatta

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the ciabatta rolls in half and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.

  2. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

Once the ciabatta is toasted, start layering the meats (salami, ham, and pepperoni) on the bottom half of each roll. Top the meats with provolone cheese, followed by the prepared vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onions, green peppers, and pickles).

  3. 5

    Add the Dressing

Drizzle the prepared olive oil and vinegar mixture over the vegetables.

  4. 6

    Finish the Sandwich

Place the top half of the ciabatta roll over the assembled ingredients. Press down gently to compact the sandwich.

Serving

  1. 7

    Cut and Serve

Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and serve immediately. Enjoy your Italian sandwich!
