Preparation of Haddock

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Haddock
Rinse the haddock fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a baking dish.

Season the Fish
Sprinkle the haddock fillets with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Set aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.
Making the Herb Breadcrumb Topping

Mix the Topping Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried thyme, and melted butter. Mix until the breadcrumbs are well coated.

Apply the Topping
Spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the seasoned haddock fillets in the baking dish.
Cooking the Dish

Bake the Haddock
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the haddock is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
Preparing the Vegetable Side

While the haddock is baking, wash the asparagus (or your choice of vegetable) and trim the ends.
