Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cucumber

Wash the cucumber thoroughly under running water. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds, reserving a few slices for garnish. You can also dice a portion of the cucumber for muddling.

  2. 2

    Muddle the Cucumber

In a cocktail shaker, add the diced cucumber pieces. Use a muddler to gently crush the cucumber to release its juices. Be careful not to over-muddle, as you want to keep some texture.

Mixing the Cocktail

  1. 3

    Add the Gin

Pour 2 oz of Hendrick's Gin into the shaker with the muddled cucumber.

  2. 4

    Shake it Up

Add ice to the shaker and secure the lid. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

  3. 5

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice. Make sure to use a fine mesh strainer to catch any cucumber bits.

Finishing Touch

  1. 6

    Top with Club Soda

Pour 4 oz of club soda over the strained gin and cucumber mixture. Stir gently to combine.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Add a cucumber slice and fresh mint leaves on top for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy!
