Preparation
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Broccoli
In the same pot, add the broccoli florets to the boiling water during the last 2-3 minutes of the pasta cooking time. Drain and set aside with the pasta.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- 4
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Combine Everything
Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese into the sauce until melted and smooth. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the sauce. Slice the chicken and lay it on top.

Serve
Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and black pepper if desired.
